Sabayang Pagbigkas / Speech Choir

*** Share ***

Hello there! I just want to share about one of my favorite activities in school, the Sabayang Pagbigkas or Speech choir in English.

So what is Sabayang Pagbigkas/ Speech Choir? What does that mean? What do you do? Those are the questions on most of your minds.

Sabayang Pagbigkas/ Speech Choir is when you are going to recite a poem with your classmates/friends  in front of an audience, it can be for entertainment or to make a grade (contest). In our school, our teacher picked a poem for us to perform. They gave us time practice for the Sabayang Pagbigkas / Speech Choir. In our performance, we used the poem "Pilipino Ako" (I am a Filipino). We need props and costumes during the Sabayang Pagbigkas. We competed with the 5th and 4th grade (I am in the 6th). We won 3th place but  thats all right at least we had fun. When they announced the winners and heard that we won 3rd place we just yelled "Manalo, Matalo, Cute parin kami!" (win or loose we are still cute). Here are some pictures of me and my classmates :)) (I'm the one on the 2nd picture)
